The International STEM Training, hosted by Trakya University, was successfully conducted within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Master Degree in Integrating Innovative STEM Strategies in Higher Education.” The activity represents the successful implementation of Work Package 4 – Activity 2, dedicated to the organization and delivery of a transnational training event for academic staff.
The training brought together academic representatives and experts from Bulgaria, Türkiye, Serbia, and Uzbekistan, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and professional development. The program focused on contemporary approaches in STEM education, with particular emphasis on innovative teaching methodologies and the integration of artificial intelligence in higher education.
Participants engaged in a series of lectures, interactive sessions, and collaborative discussions aimed at enhancing pedagogical competencies and exploring effective strategies for teaching and learning in STEM disciplines. Special attention was given to interdisciplinary approaches, the use of digital technologies, and the promotion of student-centered learning environments.
The training also included presentations related to the development of the joint master’s degree program, contributing to a deeper understanding of the project objectives and expected outcomes. The active involvement of all partner institutions further strengthened international cooperation and reinforced the shared commitment to improving the quality of higher education.
The activity concluded with a certificate award ceremony, marking the successful completion of the training and formally confirming the achievement of the planned outcomes under Work Package 4 – Activity 2. The results of this activity constitute an important step toward the project’s overall implementation and the advancement of innovative STEM education practices at the international level.
